If you ask anyone in my family, they would tell you that from a very young age I was constantly thinking of ways and ideas to make money. I was utterly fascinated with business and hoped I would have my own company one day. What I discovered later in life is that my passion for business was driven more by being able to turn thoughts and ideas into cool products rather doing any old thing to make a buck.
The Puzzle Box Paradigm™:
I think that’s why today, while I love and appreciate what money can do to improve one’s life, it’s not the ultimate obsession for me. Of course, I want my bank account and investment portfolio to be as large as possible, but only within the context of a balanced, joyful life.
That brings me to the Puzzle Box Paradigm™. I suppose it’s the way I’ve always approached money, finances, wealth, and even life. I didn’t have a formal name for it until now. And there have been little tweaks to it as I’ve learned and grown over the years. But as I explain it to you shortly, my hope is that the snazzy name will help you to remember the journey as you seek your own fortune and fulfillment.
Now before diving into the training, I’d like you to watch this short video where I will give you a quick overview of the Puzzle Box Paradigm™ and how it can help you.
Have you ever put together one of those 500 or 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles? When you examine the box top, there’s usually a colorful image of a landscape, animal, sea life, or something else that is visually pleasing.
Upon opening the box, what is the first thing you do after pouring out all the contents? Let me guess.
You start sorting out the corners and border pieces, right? We’ve all been taught that the best strategy for completing a jigsaw puzzle is to set the edges and then slowly work toward the middle. Without having the outer boundaries defined, we would find it much more difficult to complete the puzzle and likely feel that we’re not making much real progress.
We all have personal puzzle box tops that are comprised of our hopes, dreams, and aspirations. It’s the ultimate and ideal vision we have for our lives. Perhaps your pretty picture consists of a great job, no stress, family vacations, loving spouse, two kids, big house, cute dog, fancy car, etc. Close your eyes for a moment and think of your ideal life. It’s not too hard for you to envision.
The problem is that life hands each of us a 100,000 piece puzzle and says, “To get what you want, just put all the pieces together.” But, what I have discovered is that many people get overwhelmed and just flat out forget to follow the same tried and true strategies they used for completing regular jigsaw puzzles. So they get frustrated, and achieving their dreams slows to a snail’s pace.
If this sounds familiar to you, The Puzzle Box Paradigm™ will get you back on track. The Puzzle Box Paradigm is a concept which proposes that there are a set of four interconnected, guiding principles that can lead to greater wealth, prosperity, and happiness. Here they are:
-Know Thy Personality
-Know Thy Lifestyle
-Know Thy Finances
-Know Thy Goals
These principles represent the outer edges or borders of the puzzle box picture for your life. Each is comprised of its own guidelines, strategies, methodologies, and processes. But you’ll be the one who must give the puzzle pieces color, shape, meaning, and life. Don’t confuse the principles with limitations. There are none. The principles are merely intended to give you perspective and guidance.
Naturally, getting the results you want will take a little work and some soul-searching on your part. But eventually the methods and processes will sink in and become second nature. When that happens, the pieces will begin to fall into place quickly.
So your task ahead will be threefold:
- Learn what the principles or borders are and their role in helping to define your life.
- Master the techniques, methodologies, and strategies they teach.
- Achieve the results you want.
In the sections that follow, I will guide you. But I can’t give you all the answers because they primarily exist within your mind, body, and spirit. Take a deep breath and let’s begin.
